RULES OF THE GAME...
The Pundits have set forth the below rules for the game.
Follow them closely, we do not have VAR here to mess things up.
1. Points
3 points if your selection wins.
1 point if your selection draws/ties.
0 points if your selection loses.
Goal difference is calculated and used as a tie breaker if positions are tied
2. Deadline
Picks must be submitted before the kick-off of the first match in the game week. Failure to
meet the deadline will result in a -1 point deduction for that round and no team selection
for the match week.
3. Team Selections
All 20 teams must be selected once before you can pick a team for the second time.
4. Rule of 3:
You cannot pick against the same team more than 3 times during the entire season.
5. The Punditry Interference Rule
Any attempt to influence or sabotage another pundit’s picks through psychological warfare or cleverly crafted memes, may result in forfeiting a week’s pick to another pundit in your league, following a stern talk from the ‘self-proclaimed’ League Commissioner.
In-Season Bonus Features
“Throughout the season, you can earn up to 15 bonus points (yeah, good luck with that!). Review the challenges carefully to maximize your haul!”
1. Last Man Standing
The pundit who remains unbeaten the longest in their respective league earns
3 bonus points.
2. Seventh Heaven
Achieve 7 consecutive wins at any stage of the season, and you’ll be rewarded with 3 bonus points.
3. Goal Rush
Be the first pundit to reach 20+ goal difference, and you’ll snag a bonus point.
4. Wildcard Weekend
During match weeks 10 and 20, predict the exact score line of your selected game
and earn a bonus point.
5. May Madness
Double points for any win during the month of May - finish strong and maximize your points tally.
6. The Last Dance
Double points for the season finale. Finish strong and maxiumize your points tally.
